Book and Lyrics by Alda Hofferber
WITCH WHIRL'D takes old B movie stock characters, a Fortune-telling Gypsy Witch
("OLGA from der Volga") & ANTON, her Hunchback Henchman and mixes them up with
PAPA FERMATA, owner of the pizza parlor The Leaning Tower, his naive waitress, ELISE,
BOBBY and WALT a realtor and fisherman with questionable ethics and let's not forget
SAM the handyman (or woman) who does oddjobs for everyone. Add in a dash of spooky
classical (but well known) music with humorous lyrics and you end up with a
(forgive the pun) "witch's brew" of a show that is entertaining to all.
It has a simple set and easy costumes and runs about 2 and half hours
(including one intermission). With a blend of contemporary humor and classical music,
this original musical comedy
is sure to be a fantastically fun night out for all.
