PEOPLE
Until recently the only people that I've painted have been illustrations for books or poems.
Although I've never felt that I had the neccessary talent for painting people,
I've started doing a few portraits and find the diversion entertaining.

This handsome portrait was done on a large (10x14") Art Tile which is slightly irregular in shape so is best displayed rather than installed.

Sisters
These are the grandchildren of my good friend Janis.
When I saw how happy he was to be holding his brand new brother I couldn't
resist painting them and I found that as I painted I began to feel
like I was part of this joyous occasion. Thank you.
A small plaque of my aunt Joan in loving celebration of her 80th birthday.
I don't know this lovely girl's name but she certainly seems proud of her young alpaca, doesn't she?
This was painted on an 8.5x6"oval porcelain plaque.
These two young men are brothers, Ryan and Morgan Haitsma.
The small round tile was glued to the front of a journal and the plaque is a bedroom door "push-plate".
